Manuel Leone • Product Engineer · L'Aquila, Italy

I'm Manuel, I build web products, from the database to the pixel.

I like understanding how things really work: the flows, the processes, the automation. And I care that the result is nice to use, too.

Simplicity is the ultimate
sophistication.

  1. Elleapostrofoa

I set Elleapostrofoa to calculate the withdrawal period from the delivery date, and the form shows the order lines excluded by law under art. 59. The completed-order email includes the withdrawal link, with the form and texts available in the store’s languages.

  2. Menu Mensa

Anyone with a child in nursery school looks for the menu for their age group, 3 to 5, and at home there is often a brother or sister in primary school too. I added the nursery menu to Menu Mensa: at launch you choose who… Continue reading

  3. questo sito

I added a «How I work» page to this site: the five kinds of work with real projects as examples, how a collaboration starts, how the price is set and what to send to get going. It’s in the main menu and the Contact page points to it.

    Tokebì

The marketplace for trading building-bonus tax credits. I look after its design and development: it handles the case life cycle, KYC checks, payment plans, digital signatures and credit parsing.

Private feedback for shops and venues. I designed and built the platform: receipt-verified collection, aggregated analysis and AI-generated suggestions, Google review import, anonymous QR rewards, weekly reports to businesses. No public reviews.

About me

Full story

I started out drawing with pencil and paper, then graphic design led me to building web products.

These days, the part I enjoy most is figuring out where software can really lend a hand, and following it from the idea until someone uses it every day.

01

Understand what’s needed

Before drawing a single screen, I look at how the work really gets done: the steps, the constraints, the things that come up every day. From there I decide what to simplify and what’s worth building.

02

Connect the parts

Interfaces, data and integrations: the fun part is making them work together, starting from the tools people already use instead of turning their habits upside down.

03

Try it for real

I also use AI to build and try things out, then I check everything: the flows, the details, the odd cases. A working demo is just the start; the rest shows up once people actually use it.
